Mental Health Awareness Week 2023
Posted May 05, 2023
This years theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is Anxiety, "Nearly three-quarters of the population (73%) had felt anxious at least sometimes in the previous two weeks, with one in five people (20%) anxious most or all of the time."
Yesterday we hosted a Tea and Talk session in support of this year's theme, fronted by our wonderful Mental Health First Aiders the session highlighted resources for people to use and created a space for us to be open and honest about mental health. As an organization, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment for all our employees.
It was amazing to see everyone taking a moment out of their working day to connect with their colleagues, let's continue to support each other and break the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we can create a healthier and happier workplace.
